Marketing the right way can mean the success of your real estate business. If you build a brand and market it consistently, you will build your credibility and your customer base. Below are some tips to making your marketing campaign successful.
Start with a Plan Create a marketing plan before you begin. This plan should include setting your budget and deciding the mediums for marketing. You should also set your schedule at this time. Look at your calendar and decide when you are going to send out direct mail and what time of year you will hold promotions. Once you have you plan in place, you are ready to begin.
Build and Promote Your Website If you have not set up a web page yet, now is the time to do it. Many clients would rather gather information online before they talk to you in person. Make sure that you have a website that represents who you are and invites your viewers to make further contact with you. Once you have your website set up, be sure to put your web address along with other contact information on all of your printed materials: brochures, business cards, posters, and more.
Advertise Online By joining social media sites, you can spread the word about your business. Set a blog and drive traffic to your website. You can also purchase ad space on websites your target audience frequents. The Internet is where most home buyers are looking. Make sure your presence on the web is visible.
Treat Your Customers Well and Ask for Referrals Every client that is happy with your service should be given a handful of business cards to give to their friends. If your clients are happy, then they will let others know about you. You can even offer your clients a referral reward, since this usually motivates them to really look for customers for you.
Join Organizations in Your Area Your local chamber of commerce would be a great organization to join. Become a member and get to know other business owners in your field. The more people you know, the more potential clients you meet. Your chamber of commerce will also have information on other organizations in the area.
Market with Print Materials Brochures, posters, business cards, and fliers are all part of a comprehensive marketing plan. People tend to trust what they can hold in their hand. Do not let print materials replace Internet marketing, though; both types of marketing when used together provide for a very effective marketing plan.
